The unique coupling of motor and impeller minimizes space requirements and provides vibration-free operation. The fans are completely speed-controllable. Both motor and impeller are located directly in the airstream, where the impeller acts as a rotating heat sink with excellent heat dissipation and efficient motor cooling. According to the manufacturer, near-zero speeds can be achieved using solid-state speed controls. Features include a single-phase permanent split capacitor (PSC) motor, standard or reverse-flow configurations rated at 70°C ambient operation, and 300-1,700 cfm capacities.
